Brainstorm, Site map and Wireframes
Paper sketching has been a crucial part of my design process, helping me capture new ideas in real-time and quickly jot down notes on potential solutions. These sketches serve as inputs to the wireframe, forming the foundation of the design. As a UX designer, I applied this approach when designing a comprehensive site map for a conference website. The primary objective was to create an intuitive navigation structure, enabling attendees to effortlessly find relevant information about the conference.
UI elements and Iconography
After wireframe is completed, itβs time to create the UI elements, typography and color pallet. Following is an example of the specification which was used to develop the UI elements for this particular client.
Font Name: Chivo
Color: #152b5a, #363636
Gradient: #844199 35%, #1e1d56 104%
Portotyping and Mockups
High-fidelity mockups play a crucial role in the design process as they provide clients with a clear visualization of the final product. By showcasing the design's polished look, color palette, and UI elements, leadership can gain a better understanding of the overall aesthetics and user experience. This stage allows for valuable feedback and iteration before the final design is implemented. Product manger have the opportunity to review the mockup and provide input on any necessary changes or enhancements. This collaborative process ensures that the design aligns with their expectations and requirements.
