Competitive analysis research
To understand our competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and unique features I conducted the research to develop a winning solution that goes beyond the industry norm.To kickstart the ideation process for our ID proofing project, I conducted a comprehensive competitive analysis research focusing on various existing solutions offered by our competitors.
After conducting a thorough competitive analysis on ID proofing solutions, I have gained valuable insights to drive the ideation phase. My goal is to create an ID proofing system tailored to the specific needs of AT&T retail stores and our customers, ensuring seamless onboarding, enhanced security, and efficient detection of fake or tampered documents. The research findings will play a crucial role in shaping my design strategy, setting us on the path to building a cutting-edge ID proofing solution that stands out in the market.
Colaboration and Ideation
During the ideation process, I collaborated with my team in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas. Our focus was on streamlining the onboarding process, ensuring a user-friendly interface, and implementing strong security measures.
Stakeholder feedback played a vital role in refining my concepts, and through iterative discussions, I prioritized the most promising ideas.
User Journey
I created a comprehensive user journey that considers the specific needs of brand new users, existing users with no ID proofing, and existing users with already completed ID proofing, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience at AT&T retail stores.
New users without ID proofing
Store staff warmly guide them through registration, assisting with document submission, biometric data capture, and necessary verification steps for seamless onboarding.
Existing users without ID proofing
The system recognizes their profile, prompting store staff to initiate the verification process for a consistent experience regardless of their verification status.
Existing users with verified ID
The journey is streamlined as the system recognizes their status, expediting the process with fewer steps for a personalized and trusted experience.
From Vision to Blueprint
Crafting Wireframes & Prototypes
At AT&T, we take a unique approach to wireframing by skipping the traditional gray and white wireframes and instead utilizing our design system components to create wireframes that closely resemble the final prototype.
Through wireframing, I established the flow of the onboarding process and ensure a seamless user experience. Following this, I moved on to prototyping, where I transformed the wireframes into interactive mockups that simulate the user journey. Prototypes will allow me to test the functionality and usability of the design, enabling me to identify potential improvements and refine the user experience.
This iterative approach involved close collaboration with stakeholders and usability testing with potential users to gather valuable feedback, guiding me in refining the wireframes and prototypes until I achieved an intuitive and user-friendly ID proofing solution tailored to the needs of AT&T.
